Job summary

Imploy seeks an experienced Systems Administrator – Manager/Advisor to lead and support our IT infrastructure in Riyadh. This role blends hands-on administration with strategic direction, infrastructure management, and mentorship within a modern enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in systems administration, at least 2 years in a managerial/advisory capacity, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, cloud platforms, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in systems administration with 2+ years in a managerial/advisory role.
• Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers, cloud infra, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead admin and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and reliability of infrastructure.
• Implement IT security, patching, firewall, and vulnerability management practices.
• Manage backups and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Automate admin tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Lead infra projects and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff.
• Maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams for infra improvements.
