Job summary

Qataryello is seeking an IT Director located in Riyadh to develop and execute an IT strategy supporting overall organizational objectives in the Leisure and Sport sector. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of enterprise systems, manage IT budgets, and enhance operational efficiency through innovative technologies.

Qualified candidates should have a degree in IT or Computer Science, proven experience in building IT functions, and strong strategic planning skills. A track record of delivering innovative IT solutions and good stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in establishing IT functions from scratch.
• Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Strong decision-making and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience in the public sector or similar environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the IT strategy to support overall organisational objectives.
• Implementing enterprise systems, IT Infrastructure, Security controls, etc.
• Overseeing the implementation of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Managing IT budgets and ensure cost-effective utilisation of resources.
• Ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs.
• Monitoring emerging trends and recommending relevant technology solutions.
• Identifying and managing technology vendors/service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices in technology management.
