Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Islamic Banking Specialist in Saudi Arabia to provide expert guidance on Shariah-compliant banking products and services and ensure adherence to Islamic banking principles.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and lead staff training on Islamic banking products while ensuring regulatory and Shariah compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Banking, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Islamic banking or a related field.
• Certification in Islamic banking or Shariah principles is an advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic banking principles, Shariah law, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a range of Shariah-compliant banking products and services, including Murabaha, Mudaraba, and Ijarah.
• Ensure that all banking products and services comply with Islamic banking principles and Shariah law.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Islamic banking sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing expert advice on Islamic banking products and services.
• Provide training and development programs for staff on Islamic banking products and services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Shariah standards.
