Job summary

Perfect Vision - KSA is seeking a skilled Hardware Evaluation & Customization Engineer to enhance supplier designs and ensure product quality. You will evaluate supplier schematics, perform lab tests, and customize firmware and hardware components while building internal knowledge from supplier partnerships.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electronics or related fields and several years of experience in IoT hardware. The role is based in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, and familiarity with certification processes is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in IoT/embedded hardware with direct ODM/OEM supplier work.
• Experience modifying firmware on ESP32, STM32, or similar.
• Comfort with environmental chambers and other lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Audit supplier designs and run validation tests on hardware.
• Coordinate certification submissions for SASO, CE, and FCC.
• Provide cross-team technical support.

Skills

Reading and auditing schematics and BOMs

Firmware experience (C/C++)

Hands-on experience with cellular modules

Strong communication

Experience with lab tools

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
