Job summary

Sanabil Studio in Riyadh seeks an experienced Interior Fit-Out Draftsman and Quantity Surveyor to produce detailed interior drawings and BOQs. The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, site measurements, and coordination with design teams for accurate documentation.

You will prepare shop drawings for joinery, ceilings and finishes, conduct measurements, and ensure drawings meet project standards and timelines. Based in Riyadh with active site visits.

Qualifications

• Has prior experience as a draftsman in interior design and fit-out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory) and capable of producing interior shop drawings and construction details.
• Experience in quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation for interior works.
• Able to conduct accurate site measurements and translate them into technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed interior fit-out drawings using AutoCAD including layouts, plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Develop shop drawings for interior works including joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes and other bespoke elements.
• Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements to prepare and update as-built drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQs) based on approved designs, drawings, specifications and site conditions.
• Coordinate with design team, site team, contractors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and confirm technical details.
• Revise drawings and BOQs following design changes, site findings and technical review comments.

THE ROLE

What you ll own here

• Prepare detailed interior fit-out drawings using AutoCAD including layouts plans elevations sections and construction details
• Develop shop drawings for interior works including joinery ceilings flooring wall finishes and other bespoke elements
• Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements to prepare and update as-built drawings
• Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities BOQs based on approved designs drawings specifications and site conditions
• Clearly describe work items materials units and quantities within the BOQ
• Coordinate with the design team site team contractors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and confirm technical details
• Revise drawings and BOQs following design changes site findings and technical review comments
• Maintain organized drawing files revision records and project documentation
• Submit drawings and BOQs to the Technical Lead for review and approval before issuing them for execution

You’re probably a fit if

• You have previous experience as a draftsman in interior design and fit-out projects (essential).
• You have strong proficiency in AutoCAD, which is mandatory and our primary software requirement.
• You have practical experience preparing interior shop drawings and construction details.
• You have experience in quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation for interior works.
• You can conduct accurate site measurements and translate them into technical drawings.
• You have a good understanding of interior materials, joinery, finishes, and installation methods.
• You’re proficient in Microsoft Excel for BOQ preparation and quantity calculations.
• You have strong attention to detail and organization, and you meet deadlines.
• You hold a relevant diploma or degree in architectural drafting, interior design, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
• You hold a valid Saudi driving licence and have access to a personal car for regular site visits.
• You are currently based in Riyadh and hold a valid Saudi residence permit (Iqama).
