Job summary

KBR is seeking an Instrument Technician(Level III) in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia to lead instrument maintenance activities and coordinate field teams. The role requires strong safety awareness and hands-on expertise with instrument systems in oil and gas facilities.

You will ensure adherence to procedures, perform site inspections, and report progress to the instrument foreman while driving reliability improvements across installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ Oil & Gas maintenance experience (High School).
• Minimum 4 years’ Oil & Gas maintenance experience (Diploma).
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day instrument maintenance activities within the designated area.
• Ensure compliance with SATORP safety and quality procedures during maintenance work.
• Conduct site visits to verify proper execution and supervise technicians.
• Translate work directions into actions; monitor progress and report to the foreman.

He is the Focal point for daily Instrument maintenance execution plan* Ensure that technician complies and applied SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures, during the execution of Instrument maintenance activities.* Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and check on the activity’s technicians engaged in routine maintenance activities.* Lead and Technicians assigned to his area.* Receive work directions from the Instrument foreman in relation to Instrument systems maintenance orders/requests and ensure translating these directions into actions.* Follow-up on Instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations.
