Job summary

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd seeks a skilled Electrical Engineer to maintain and improve electrical systems for our manufacturing facilities, ensuring efficiency and safety. You will design and troubleshoot control systems, lead maintenance programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years' experience in an industrial setting, with strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs, HMI).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, production lines, and plant infrastructure.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and production teams to optimize processes and equipment performance.
• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Train and mentor junior electrical technicians as required.
• Develop and update electrical documentation and operating procedures.
