Job summary

Albawani | البواني is seeking a Financial Reporting Officer to prepare timely financial reports and ensure IFRS compliance. You will support audit activities, maintain accurate records, and help improve reporting processes while aligning with company policies.

The role requires 2–5 years in financial reporting, strong IFRS knowledge, and collaboration with internal and external auditors. Proficiency in English and Arabic is essential, with ERP experience as an advantage.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and application.
• Experience with external auditors preferred.
• Knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure financial reports are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Perform account reconciliations and validate financial data.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Support the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain documentation supporting financial reporting activities.
• Monitor updates to accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial data and identify significant variances.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial performance summaries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required.
• Provide reporting insights to support business decisions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support the implementation of internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Assist in resolving audit observations and recommendations.
• Maintain financial reporting databases and records.
• Improve reporting templates and reporting efficiency.
• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other finance-related reporting duties as assigned.
