Qualifications

Previous experience operating an ice plant, chiller plant, refrigeration system, or cooling equipment within a ready-mix concrete plant.
Practical understanding of concrete cooling requirements in high-temperature environments.
Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
Ability to read temperature, pressure, flow, and equipment performance indicators.
Physically capable of working in an industrial plant environment.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial ice-making machines, chillers, refrigeration units, pumps, and tanks.
Supply the required quantities of ice and chilled water to the batching plant.
Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rate, refrigeration levels.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of plant equipment.
Coordinate with batching plant operators regarding production volumes.
