Weare seeking an experienced and results-driven Risk Manager tolead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities for our roadand infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineeringdiscipline from an accredited university.
- 20+years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects such asbridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
- Provenexperience in project risk management across planning, design, andconstruction phases.
- Excellentcommand of English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Strongleadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solidunderstanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., riskregisters, risk matrices, qualitative and quantitative analysis).
- Proficiencyin MS Office Suite and strong analytical and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Conductcomprehensive risk assessments for roads and bridges project, identifyingpotential hazards and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Collaboratewith project managers and stakeholders to integrate risk managementprocesses into the project lifecycle, ensuring that all team members areaware of potential risks.
- Monitorand report on risk exposure throughout the project phases, utilizing riskmanagement software and tools to track progress and effectiveness ofmitigation measures.
- Developand implement risk management policies and procedures tailored to thespecific needs of road and bridge construction project, aligning them withindustry best practices.
- Facilitaterisk workshops and training sessions for project teams, enhancing theirunderstanding of risk management principles and promoting a proactive riskculture.
- Analyzeproject data and historical performance metrics to identify trends andinform future risk management strategies, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Engagewith regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay updated oncompliance requirements and emerging risks in the construction sector.
- Preparedetailed risk reports and presentations for senior management, providinginsights into risk exposure and recommending strategies for riskreduction.
- Leadcross-functional teams in developing contingency plans and responsestrategies for identified risks, ensuring that the organization isprepared for potential challenges.
