Job summary

MGIS is an International School in Saudi Arabia offering IB-certified education where English is the language of instruction. The KSA Teacher plans, delivers and assesses lessons that engage students in historical, geographical, political and social concepts about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with IB philosophy.

The teacher fosters critical thinking, global awareness and inquiry, supporting both Arabic and English instruction for Grades 4–9 while aligning with KSA standards and IB

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has IB certification and experience aligning lessons with IB philosophy.
• Experience planning delivering and assessing lessons engaging students in understanding KS A and global issues.
• Ability to integrate technology and diverse instructional methods to meet student needs.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Planning and Delivery: develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with KSA curriculum and standards.
• Classroom Management: create a respectful inclusive environment and manage resources.
• Assessment and Evaluation: design quizzes, projects and tests and provide timely feedback.
• Student Support and Engagement: offer additional support and foster critical thinking through interactive activities.
• Professional Collaboration and Development: collaborate with colleagues and participate in PD.
• Communication with Parents and Guardians: maintain open lines of communication and attend conferences.
• Contribution to School Community: participate in school events and uphold mission and values.
