Purpose
The HR Project Manager plays a key role in advancing AbbVie’s people strategy by leading critical HR projects, driving process excellence, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the affiliate. This role partners closely with the HR Director, regional HR workstreams, and cross‑functional teams to deliver initiatives that enhance the employee experience, strengthen organizational capabilities, and support AbbVie’s mission of improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement HR KPIs that align with affiliate and regional objectives, working closely with HR leadership to ensure strategic consistency and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using advanced data visualization tools to enable real‑time tracking of HR performance, programs, and initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver regular HR performance reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual), providing clear analyses, trend insights, and improvement opportunities.
- Create concise executive summaries and tailored presentations that translate complex HR data into clear, actionable insights for both HR and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations, ensuring insights are communicated effectively in leadership meetings and team discussions.
- Establish and manage a structured feedback mechanism to continuously enhance reporting quality, dashboard functionality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide strategic, data‑driven recommendations and collaborate with leadership to develop action plans that address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi labor laws, internal policies, and data protection regulations across all HR analytics and reporting activities.
- Plan, lead, and manage HR projects end‑to‑end, including HRIS implementations, policy development initiatives, and talent management programs.
- Coordinate effectively with HR teams, senior management, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, milestone tracking, risk management, and budget oversight.
- Provide ongoing support to the HR Director and regional HR Director, contributing to strategic initiatives, preparing high‑quality deliverables, and ensuring alignment with regional priorities whenever needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Project management certifications are an advantage (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
- 5+ years of progressive PM experience, with at least 2–3 years in HR project management, HR operations, HR analytics, or HR transformation roles.
- Experience in regional or multinational environments is highly desirable.
- Strong background in HR reporting, dashboards, data analytics & Presentations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
- Proficiency in HR software and data management tools (e.g., HRIS, Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
