Job summary

International Maritime Industries is seeking skilled welders to join our shipyard operations in the Eastern Province. The role focuses on hull fabrication, fit-up, and welding in accordance with WPS and project drawings.

Ensure safe work practices and maintain quality across all welding activities. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years in shipyard or ship repair environments, be certified (2F/3F), and proficient in English with basic Arabic.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified 2F or 3F welder (ABS/Class) preferred.
• 3–6 years in Shipyard/Ship repair.
• Good English communication.
• Arabic language skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe working environment and comply with safety regulations.
• Follow manager safety instructions and participate in toolbox talks.
• Perform fit-up, welding and alignment per drawings and WPS.
• Operate welding equipment and verify quality of welds.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
• Inspect materials and tools for quality and safety.
• Maintain clean work area and proper lighting and ventilation.
• Work under supervision of managers and safety teams.
