Job summary

International Maritime Industries seeks skilled shipwright welders to manage hull assembly in the PE/ dock area. You will measure, align, and fit blocks to drawings with precision, perform welding per WPS standards, and ensure safety compliance under supervision.

Requirements include a technical diploma, 6–11 years in shipyards, 2G/3G certification, and English communication skills. Offshore safety and proper PPE use are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–11 years of shipyard/ship repair experience.
• Good command of English, safety-conscious, and able to read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe working environment and maintain clean, lit, ventilated areas.
• Follow safety regulations and wear protective equipment.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety checks.
• Perform tasks within deadlines under manager direction.
• Work after qualification and verify drawings and WPS standards.
• Operate and check welding and measuring equipment.
