Job summary

KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) is seeking a highly motivated HPC Computational Scientist to provide expert support for compiling, running, debugging, and optimizing codes on Shaheen III CPUs and GPUs partitions. You will enable research on KSL HPC systems across computational science, big data, AI/ML, and related fields.

Responsibilities include installation, porting and tuning of HPC applications, developing tools, documenting workflows, and delivering user training

Qualifications

PhD in computer science, computational science and engineering or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

Provide expert support in compiling, running, debugging, and optimizing internally developed codes on HPC systems.
Support enablement activities for research on KSL HPC systems including computational science, big data, AI/ML.
Install, port, and tune high-performance applications and data analysis software stacks.
Develop software tools and parallel libraries to support research projects on cluster systems.
Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and partners to meet research objectives and enable reproducible results.
Prepare documentation and provide training for users on HPC systems and workflows.
