Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities; coordinate efforts with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry; document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and motivating employees.
• Follow safety policies; maintain uniforms and professional appearance; protect company assets; report hazards and injuries.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; assist individuals with disabilities; communicate with guests using clear and professional language.
• Communicate with coworkers to ensure proper task understanding and coverage; assist with shift handoffs and paperwork.
