Qualifications

• Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
• Internship and residency completed successfully.
• Postgraduate qualification in Hematology or related specialty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and establish accurate diagnoses for hematologic conditions.
• Manage outpatient consultations and provide specialized hematology services.
• Develop, implement, monitor treatment plans based on findings.
• Prescribe medications, blood products, and other interventions as appropriate.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and options to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and other specialties.
• Perform hematology procedures within scope of privileges.
• Participate in inpatient care activities including admissions and rounds.
• Maintain complete medical records in line with standards.
• Review clinical documentation prepared by junior staff.
• Supervise and mentor physicians in training and allied staff.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, ethics, and patient safety.
• Participate in emergency coverage and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to medical education and research activities.
