Job summary

Alfa Laval in Yanbu is seeking a Service Centre Operator to perform hands‑on heat exchanger reconditioning, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection and assembly. You will adhere to safety standards, wear PPE, and generate reports on findings while maintaining equipment and workshop cleanliness.

The role requires a hands-on technician with a related diploma, strong safety awareness, and fluent English. Saudi nationals are preferred; willingness to work extended hours is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technician with Diploma/associate degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
• Agile and positive mindset for challenges.
• Good safety awareness and team player mentality.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on activities related to heat exchanger reconditioning including disassembly, cleaning, dye penetrant inspection, gasket gluing, assembly and pressure testing.
• Always wear full PPE as required by the job.
• Report technical findings and compile inspection reports.
• Communicate issues to Team Leader and address concerns before proceeding.
• Use proper tools, equipment and procedures; follow reconditioning/repair procedures.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and care of tools, spares and consumables.
• Attend training as part of Personnel Development program and be willing to work extended hours.
