Job summary

Matar Holding company in Saudi Arabia seeks a skilled Heat Exchanger Technician to fabricate, assemble, test, and maintain heat exchangers in a busy manufacturing environment. You will work from technical drawings and use welding and fabrication tools to build units that meet design specs and safety requirements.

With 3-5 years of hands-on experience, you will perform inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance while keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in heat exchanger fabrication, pressure vessel, or similar manufacturing.
• Hands-on welding experience (TIG, MIG, SMAW) and metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of pressure testing, NDT, and QC processes.
• Familiarity with fabrication standards such as ASME, API, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install heat exchangers according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as welding machines, bending machines, and cutting tools.
• Conduct inspection and testing of components to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heat exchanger units.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve technical issues during fabrication.
• Maintain accurate records of fabrication processes, materials used, and test results.
• Follow all company safety policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, or relevant standards)
