Overview

This role is responsible for managing sourcing activities, healthcare provider relationships, and agreement management, while ensuring compliance with approved standards and policies, achieving procurement efficiency, and delivering high‑quality healthcare services that meet organizational needs.

Area of Knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of healthcare sourcing & purchasing processes/methodology.
  • Basic knowledge to manage the agreements with all healthcare suppliers.
  • Basic knowledge of Insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage healthcare procurement activities in line with the sourcing strategy, from the development and implementation to the management of agreements and vendors for a defined category.
  • Participate in the implementation, deployment, and compliance with the Healthcare Network and Procurement policy, procedures, and tools.
  • Monitor the unit cost of healthcare providers and ensure that they are fit for the network category.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with healthcare providers to ensure that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Check and test existing contracts and confirm contract renewal dates.
  • Reviewing healthcare providers' offers and responding to them, accepting, rejecting, or re-evaluating.
  • Maintain the renewal of agreements and price tariffs of healthcare suppliers.
  • Work with the Senior Healthcare Procurement and Network Manager and network team to gather and assess business requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and implementation of new processes and policies, taking directions from the Senior Healthcare Procurement and Network Manager.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare providers in the local and international market providing the required services.
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve healthcare procurement objectives in line with the company strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field.
  • Insurance Foundations Professional certificate (IFCE).
  • Minimum 3+ Years of Experience in healthcare insurance or related field.
