Job summary

Caliberly Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to drive safety, health and environmental compliance across mining operations in the Taif area and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

The role requires hands-on site experience, strong knowledge of OHS and environmental regulations, and the ability to conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits and safety trainings. Saudi Saudization initiatives apply; NEBOSH or IOSH preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an HSE Officer with hands-on mining-site experience to drive safety, health and environmental compliance across its operations.

This position is part of our client’s Saudization programme, in line with Saudi labour regulations.

Location: Taif Area (Western Region) and Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

What you’ll do

• Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures on mining sites
• Carry out site inspections and safety audits, and follow up on corrective actions
• Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental regulations
• Report and investigate incidents and near misses
• Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks
• Prepare clear HSE reports for site and senior management

What you’ll bring

• HSE experience in the mining industry (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of OHS and environmental regulations
• Experience with site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments
• Knowledge of incident reporting and safety compliance procedures
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent certification (preferred)
• Strong communication and reporting skills
