Job summary

Confidential is seeking an accomplished QA/QC Director (Construction) to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function across a portfolio of construction, infrastructure, and landscape projects. You will develop and implement the organization’s quality strategy, ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements, fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, 15+ years of QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/ mechanical engineering, construction management or related field.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive QA/QC experience in construction, infra or engineering industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with client specs, contractual obligations, local regulations, and ISO 9001.
• Lead and manage QA/QC teams across multiple project sites and business units.
• Establish company-wide quality objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Oversee QA/QC activities to meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop ITPs, quality plans, method statements, and quality procedures.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and certification activities.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement CAPA.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
• Review material submittals, inspection reports, and handover records.
• Ensure proper QC inspections, testing, and documentation through all project phases.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and cert bodies.
• Prepare executive-level quality reports and strategic recommendations.
