Job summary

Confidential in Riyadh seeks a Head of Investment to lead the investment function across international real estate and portfolio asset management. You will build deal pipelines, oversee due diligence, structure transactions and report performance to the Owner.

Reporting to the Owner, you will mentor a team, coordinate with deal providers and partners, manage post-investment activities, and develop strategy in line with market trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Initiate & develop investment relationships with deal providers, advisors and other investment companies in collaboration with the GM.
• Perform extensive due diligence and investment research, keep informed of developments in global markets and the alternative investment management industry.
• Manage the relationship with investment managers, investment companies, investee companies, potential partners, existing partners and external advisors in collaboration with the GM.
• Manage, monitor and control all 'post-investment' phases for the investment portfolio.
• Support GM in formulating investing strategy, decision making on investments and portfolio management.
• Propose investment strategies based on risk, return appetite and other constraints.
• Proactively recommend policies, practices and strategies to ensure alignment with local/global best practices & industry trends.
• Continuously scan the market to identify potential Investment opportunities, conduct research, analysis and.prepare reports for management to facilitate investment decisions.
• Act as liaison role between the company and potential investment partners, lead negotiations, to ensure delivering high quality investment opportunities to the company.
• Working with the investment analyst(s) to perform due diligence activities.
• Oversees closing of transactions.
• Designing plans to peruse the selected strategic investment initiatives.
• Recommending and implementing financing programs and sourcing debt capital to support the activities of the real estate (international) portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal or external investment professionals to analyze, finance, close, manage and sell international real estate investments.
• Collaborate with professionals to structure and negotiate transactions.
• Identify trends and opportunities in local and international PE, VC, Equities and Commercial real estate investment(s) trends and opportunities.
• Under the direction of the GM, manage, monitor and undertake all investment activities including investment acquisition, investment optimization and realization to ensure that investments' performance are aligned with the market standards.
• Manage & lead the divestment of assets in order to maximize the value for the company.
• Conduct economic, industry and market research.
• Perform & Review market and financial analysis on current investments.
• Perform equity research, identify market comparisons and benchmarks, historical data analysis and make recommendations.

Job description

Head of Investment

— Reporting to the Owner of the business, this role leads the investment function: building relationships with deal providers, advisors, and investment partners, conducting due diligence and market research, and managing the full investment lifecycle from sourcing through to divestment. The role spans financial investments, international real estate investment, and portfolio asset management, with responsibility for structuring transactions, sourcing debt financing, mentoring a team, and reporting investment performance and recommendations to the owner.

The Jobholder is responsible to:
