Job summary

Foodics in Riyadh is hiring a Head of Compliance & Governance to ensure our processes meet KSA and SAMA regulations. You will guide risk assessments, shape compliance programs, and connect management with specialist teams.

You will lead KYC/AML, MLRO duties, and oversee regulatory reporting, policies, and incident handling while building a robust compliance culture in a fast-growing fintech SaaS company.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, law or related field; Masters is a plus.
  • CCO Certified compliance officer is a big plus.
  • Up to date knowledge in SAMA regulatory framework and KSA compliance in financial and payment services.
  • Experience in fintech/ SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Flexible to work in a fast paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of the company’s compliance program and lead the rollout of associated compliance policies and procedures.
  • Lead efforts in identifying and assessing compliance risks to the organization, ensuring proper evaluation of their potential impacts.
  • Ensure the organization consistently meets regulatory and compliance obligations, while ensuring policies and procedures are robust and aligned with applicable laws and SAMA regulations.
  • Manage the scope of key compliance areas including KYC, client relations procedures, client complaints, code of conduct and ethics, incident and complaint reporting, as well as relevant legislation related to payment institutions and local laws.
  • Review and approve all documentation submitted to SAMA for new product formations related to the payments business.
  • Oversee follow-up actions on SAMA’s inspection reports, preparing comprehensive action plans in collaboration with relevant departments to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. (MLRO) Oversee the company’s AML/CFT framework, identify and assess financial crime risks, monitor suspicious activities, ensure appropriate escalation and reporting, and maintain effective controls in line with SAMA and KSA regulations.
  • KYC & Customer Due Diligence (CDD): Lead and oversee KYC/CDD processes, including customer identification and verification, risk classification, enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers, and ongoing monitoring, ensuring compliance with SAMA, AML/CFT requirements, and internal policies.

The Job in a Nutshell

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Head of Compliance & Governance who will help us guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant guidelines, complying with KSA and SAMA regulations and internal stands too. You will be accountable for a range of duties from conducting risk assessments to advising the management, providing a link between specialist departments and management team, regulating the flow of information between management and specialist areas, while respecting different responsibilities and confidentiality requirements. With your team, you will participate in developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising on possible risks.

What Will You Do

What Are We Looking For
