Head of IT Audit

Our client – one of the largest Commercial Banks in Saudi Arabia – is currently looking for a Head of IT Audit to join the bank on a permanent basis. The role will report directly into the Head of Internal Audit.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the largest banks in the region and to develop your skills and knowledge in IT whilst working in emerging territories.

Responsibilities

In order to fulfil this role, you must have the ability to do and deliver Audits. You will be managing a small team of 5 with the view to expand over the next two years. Due to the different challenges you would typically face managing such a team, it is essential that you have strong leadership skills to coach and mentor each individual to achieve short, medium and long‑term goals for the IT Audit function. A good understanding of IT across all main functions – Infrastructure, Data Centres, Security and Networks – is important to communicate IT issues in terms of business impact. Stakeholder/relationship management experience is also essential.

Qualifications

• Audit/IT Audit 7‑10 years experience minimum.
• Management/Leadership skills (coaching & mentoring).
• IT knowledge (Infrastructure, Data Centres, Security and Networks).
• English skills – written & spoken.
• Arabic language not essential, but good command in English required.
• Ideally banking experience (not essential).
