Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) invites graduates to join its Graduate Development Program in Riyadh, designed to build a strong foundation in energy and water sectors. You will rotate across Corporate Project Delivery and Asset Management, gaining hands-on exposure to contracts, planning, documentation, and asset lifecycle management.

The program emphasizes mentorship from experienced professionals and offers an opportunity for full-time placement upon successful completion, setting the stage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Energy, or related discipline).
  • Recent graduate or up to 1–2 years of internship/work experience.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, project management, and asset lifecycle concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with engineering software, ERP systems, or maintenance management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Interest in the energy, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand various types of contracts, shareholder structure etc.
  • Learn about engineering methodology, process flow of documentation and deliverables for a project and assist in the same.
  • Gain exposure to project planning and scheduling concepts and assist in the same.
  • Learn about project management principles and participate in project management activities.
  • Learn and contribute towards company’s HSE commitments.
  • Learn about various stages of the project and participate in the same.
  • Learn about plant performance management strategies.
  • Support in monitoring and optimisation of operational asset performance.
  • Gain an understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance planning activities.
  • Maintain asset records, maintenance data, and technical documentation.
  • Support implementation of asset integrity and reliability programs.
  • Learn about risk management and contribute towards the same.

Overview

Graduate Development Program is designed to equip graduates with a strong foundation in the energy and water sector, while developing their engineering, leadership skills, and business acumen working with a leading industry player.

This program is designed to provide hands‑on exposure across key functions like Project Management, delivery and Asset Lifecycle Management. The trainee will participate in structured rotations, gaining practical experience and developing a strong foundation in project and asset management within a dynamic energy environment.

Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)
