Job summary

Site construction leadership opportunity in a major EPC project. Lead supervision, interface with Client and EPC Contractor, and manage progress, safety, and quality. Coordinate plans, RFIs, and handover readiness to ensure project milestones are met.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of site construction management experience on large EPC projects, and strong proficiency in project controls and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an internationally recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant site construction management experience on large EPC projects.
• At least 5 years in a Construction Manager/Site Construction Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong capability in site reporting, construction documentation, progress tracking, action management, MS Office, and project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction supervision and coordination for EPC works, ensuring activities align with drawings, specifications, contract requirements and standards.
• Serve as the day-to-day site interface with Client, EPC Contractor and WSP project team for construction-related matters.
• Drive contractor performance by monitoring daily site activities, manpower, equipment, material availability and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with Client and EPC Contractor to ensure timely inputs, inspections, reporting and issue escalation.
• Monitor interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, commissioning and HSE teams and close interface issues.
• Review construction method statements, ITPs, work permits, risk assessments, lifting plans and temporary works.
• Participate in progress meetings, coordination meetings and client/EPC meetings; ensure actions are tracked to closure.
• Prepare and circulate minutes, action trackers, site observation reports and construction follow-up notes.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers for RFIs/TQs, field changes, site instructions and design clarifications.
• Support planning, sequencing and readiness reviews, including look-ahead schedules and critical path activities.
• Monitor site quality and HSE compliance, tracking NCRs and corrective actions.
• Provide inputs to construction progress reports and validate progress and decisions.
• Support final handover, documentation and closeout records.
