Job Description Summary

Strong technical experience in GIS and AIS switchgear is required. The role includes performing E&C services and maintenance activities, including testing and commissioning of all types of high‑voltage switchgear. The candidate must be able to handle and manage GIS equipment, prepare technical reports and site documentation, and ensure full EHS compliance and quality of site work in accordance with GE Vernova procedures.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of safety importance at site, perform LOTO operations according to GE & Customer safety regulations.
• Understand site safety, quality, and productivity to implement all GEV EHS rules for continuous improvement.
• Hands on work experience E&C of 230 & 380 KV substations.
• Knowledge of GIS & AIS switch gears, electrical panels.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical live substations etc.
• Understanding and executing the repairing & preventive maintenance.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings and diagnose issues in equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of substations.
• Maintaining back‑office reporting, test reports and maintaining customer documentation at site.
• Coordinate with OEM (factories) for unsolved repair problems NC.
• Provide technical assistance as needed for the installation or pre‑arrangement of projects.
• Perform all duties as part of a team or as site lead to allocate responsibilities to site team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and/or Electromechanical Engineering or relevant field, or/and diploma in a relevant field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in high voltage switch gears.
• Capable to do E&C of GIS SS site services included maintenance.
• Proficiency in English.
• Requires multiple working across remote sites in the kingdom.
• Managing the site and customer needs well even in a pressure environment.
