Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a GIS I&C Supervisor to oversee installation, commissioning and fault elimination of high voltage systems worldwide for PGHV. You will represent PG and PGHV at client sites, ensuring deadlines and cost-performance are balanced with safety and quality.

You will lead installation and maintenance work, supervise sub-suppliers, inspect materials, issue non-conformances, coordinate loop checks and site meetings, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of GIS experience is preferred.
• Experience with SF6 gas-handling and PGHV transmission knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to use MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensuring compliance with installation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Inspecting arriving material for completeness and coordinating material handling.
• Issuing non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment.
• Supervising final installation and commissioning tests and documentation.
• Coordinating loop checks and participating in site meetings as required.
