Job summary

atmaal is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to operate and optimize Kubernetes/OKE environments hosting AI and platform services. You will ensure high availability, scalability, and security, while developing CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.

The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and rapid incident response. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve release processes and implement DevOps best practices across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (CS/IT/CE/SE).
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, GenOps, Cloud/Platform Engineering, or CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience managing production environments and highly available systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, and optimize Kubernetes/OKE environments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of production environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.

Job description

Responsible for operating, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes/OKE environments hosting AI and platform services, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and security. The role is also responsible for developing and automating build, testing, and deployment processes through CI/CD solutions, as well as implementing monitoring, logging, and tracing capabilities to enhance system reliability and enable rapid incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, and optimize Kubernetes/OKE environments supporting AI and platform services.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of production environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Implement code quality gates, automated testing, and artifact promotion across environments.
• Implement and maintain Monitoring, Logging & Tracing solutions to improve system observability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and incidents while reducing Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to streamline and improve software release processes.
• Automate technical processes and apply DevOps best practices.
• Support continuous delivery of AI-enabled features and solutions.

Education

Experience

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience managing and supporting production environments and highly available systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and OKE.
• Experience with AI platforms or AI-enabled applications.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Relevant Cloud or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
