Job summary

Afaq - Warehouse Branch in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Operations Specialist to oversee shift management at our fulfillment centres and contribute to efficient delivery across the supply chain.

You will lead safety initiatives, train Associates, ensure orders meet quality and safety guidelines, and collaborate with frontline teams to tackle performance issues and optimise labour allocation and processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights or holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts.

• Help to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation and process optimisation.

We will oversee the shift management in one of our first mile fulfillment centres, middle mile sortation centres or final mile delivery stations. Our Operations Specialists drive the pulse of our operations on the ground and play a key role in getting our customers orders out to them in every step of the chain.

This is a varied, challenging role and every day is different!

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Do you have bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Work 40 hours per week, and overtime as required
