Maersk in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking a seasoned financial analyst to partner with site operations, commercial, finance and business controlling. You will guide financial strategy, maintain accurate reporting, and support decisions with data-driven insights.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and cost optimization across MLP sites, ensuring CAPEX discipline, working capital efficiency and compliant accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MLP sites' budget and forecast.
• Identify growth opportunities and cost-saving areas and initiatives.
• Provide financial insights (highlights and lowlights) to support stakeholders in decision-making.
• Analyze financial sites' performance (revenue, costs, profitability) and tracking sites KPIs.
• Manage MLP profitability at product-level, customer-level, and actual results Vs. approved Business Case and Vs the Budget.
• Control CAPEX spend Vs. approved Business Case, ensuring capitalization is compliant with accounting standards. Develop asset inventory and monitor assets register postings in the system and manage periodic asset counts.
• Control MLP sites -related SG&A cost, deep-dive analysis on actual performance Vs. forecast, identifying trends and plans to optimize costs.
• Coordinate the financial activities for the sites (payments, process setup, reconciliations, customer on-boarding, etc).
• Support in Working Capital and funding requirements.
• Oversee the day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and in compliance with accounting principles and standards and work closely with finance operations and business controlling teams.
• Support the deliverables of the Accounting Manager and Finance Business Partners by providing insightful MLP-related business analysis and commentary on a timely basis.
• Drive MLP sites performance management for MCL management together with the key stakeholders
• Provide transparency and insights to the sites/products P&L.
• MLP sites financial data insights, target setting, business planning and forecasting.
