Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior finance leader to oversee accounting operations, planning, and control across power, renewables, and water projects.

You will coordinate closing processes, budgeting, forecasting, and model-driven cash flow analysis, while strengthening governance and compliance with tax and zakat requirements. Leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential for strategic growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of diverse finance and reporting experience with 3+ years in management.
• Trained by Big4 and held managerial responsibilities.
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent accounting degree.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI; ERP systems experience.
• Experience in preparing statutory and board reporting; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, monthly/quarterly/annual closings and reconciliations.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Develop and update accounting procedures and purchasing guidelines.
• Strengthen financial controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues with timely support.
• Lead budgeting, forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
• Maintain integrated financial model with assumptions and cash flows.
• Monitor variances and advise on corrective actions.
• Prepare debt service schedules, covenants, and lender reporting.
• Coordinate tax, zakat, VAT compliance and audit processes.
• Drive financial transformation initiatives and staff coaching.
