Job description
Role Purpose

The Finance Manager will lead and manage the financial operations of the Agri Business Divisions. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial support in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will provide meaningful financial insights, maintain strong financial controls, manage cash flow, and guide the finance team to support sustainable business growth and financial stability.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS.
    • Analyze financial performance, highlighting trends, variances, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Provide timely financial reports and insights to senior management with recommendations to improve financial efficiency and profitability.
    • Develop dashboards and KPIs for ongoing financial performance tracking.
  2. Financial Planning & Strategy
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
    • Create financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
    • Provide financial guidance for new investments, cost‑reduction initiatives, pricing strategies, and CapEx planning.
    • Partner with senior leadership to align financial objectives with overall business strategy and growth plans.
  3. Accounting & Compliance
    • Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, tax regulations (Zakat, VAT, WHT), and audit requirements.
    • Oversee general accounting, month‑end close, and ledger accuracy.
    • Manage tax planning, tax return preparation, and coordination with external tax advisors.
    • Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure audit readiness.
    • Enforce financial discipline and compliance across the business units.
  4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
    • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
    • Oversee banking relationships, payment cycles, and treasury operations.
    • Implement strategies to optimize cash utilization and minimize financial risks.
  5. Financial Controls & Process Improvement
    • Strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
    • Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial transparency.
    • Ensure proper risk management and internal audit compliance.
  6. Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and capability building.
    • Allocate responsibilities, monitor workload, and ensure timely deliverables.
    • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Educational & Professional Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Professional Certifications (highly preferred): ACA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA .
  • Experience
    • 12+ years total experience in Finance.
    • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role leading finance teams.
    • Experience in Agri, Manufacturing, FMCG, or multi‑division business preferred.
