Job summary

Mackenzie Jones Middle East is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to be based in Khobar. The role will lead the development of a new regional finance team across the Middle East, overseeing budget planning, cash management and financial reporting.

You will liaise with auditors and bankers, implement procedures, and drive cost control while maintaining accuracy and integrity. Fluent English is required; Arabic skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid technical accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
• Maintain system of accounts and records on all transactions and assets.
• Implement accounting procedures and processes as identified by the Finance Director.
• Review Accounts Receivables/Payables and weekly payment runs.
• Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approve within limits.
• Prepare Budgets, forecasts and financial reports regularly.
• Review reports and analyse projections of sales & operating income against actuals.
• Conduct cost-reduction opportunity reviews and evaluations.
• Manage the region's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring success.
• Develop external relationships with auditors, bankers and other contacts.

My client, an international powerhouse in the education sector, has an immediate need for a seasoned finance manager to be based in their Khobar offices.

As part of the company's development this growing region is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a significant role in the development of a new finance team in the Middle East region. The company prides itself on teamwork and being a people-based business placing great importance on personal integrity, emotional intelligence and inter-personal skills.

Responsible for budgetary planning, cash management, and the preparation of financial reports.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• 1. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
• 2. Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.

• 6. Preparation of Budgets, forecasts and financial reports on regular basis.
• 7. Review reports and analyse projections of sales & operating income against actual figures.
• 8. Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• 9. Managing the region's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• 10. Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out successfully
• 11. Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. Auditors, Bankers
