Job description

Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of one of its divisions. This role entails ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis in line with applicable regulations and company policies. The Finance Manager will provide strategic financial insights to guide decision-making, maintain robust financial controls, manage cash flow effectively, and oversee the finance team. This position is instrumental in safeguarding the company’s financial stability and fostering long-term growth.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide detailed financial reports and insights to senior management, highlighting financial performance and making recommendations for improvement.

Financial Planning & Strategy:

  • Support strategic planning through financial modeling and scenario analysis, assessing the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Provide financial guidance and insight to executive management to support key decisions, including new investments, cost-cutting initiatives, and capital expenditures.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with business objectives and growth strategies.

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, Zakat, VAT and internal controls by working closely with auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams.
  • Lead the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring that taxes are properly managed and compliant with local requirements.
  • Oversee the financial audit process, working closely with external and internal auditors.
