Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a senior finance leader to head the Finance & Business Support function. You will ensure rigorous financial operations, drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis to support hotel objectives.

In this role, you will oversee budgets, KPIs, internal controls, audits, cash flow, CAPEX, and collaboration with General Manager and department heads to sustain profitability and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance & Business Support function and ensure the effective operation of all finance activities in line with IHG standards.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analyses.
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and departmental P&Ls, providing recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IHG policies, accounting standards, local regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls, safeguard hotel assets, and oversee financial risk management.
• Coordinate internal, external, and IHG audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, payroll, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) activities.
• Partner with the General Manager and Department Heads to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
• Drive cost control initiatives while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Business Support team to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth.
• Promote collaboration across departments and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the General Manager in support of the hotel's business objectives.
