Job summary

A leading event organizer in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial data collection and reporting. This role involves maintaining cost trackers, assisting in sales commission calculations, and supporting budget analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5-7 years of finance experience, and be part-qualified in an accounting qualification. Qualifications

Job Description

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting financial data collection, basic reporting, and providing analytical assistance to the Finance Business Analyst team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining cost trackers for assigned events and support reconciliation with approved budgets/forecasts
  • Help collect and organize data for the Weekly Sales Report (WSR) to ensure timely and accurate circulation
  • Support the calculation and verification of Sales Commission figures under supervision
  • Assist the Finance Business Partner team with data gathering and initial analysis for Budget Packs and monthly forecasts
  • Support the Management Accounting team with basic accruals preparation and month-end processesHelp maintain financial reporting documentation and assist with Balance Sheet review preparation
  • Support the credit control function by following up on outstanding payments and assisting with accounts receivable reporting
  • Liaise with Global Business Services and Finance Shared Services to facilitate business processes such as O2C, P2P and R2R.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Part-qualified accountant (studying towards recognised professional accounting qualification e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience with basic financial reporting and analysis
  • Understanding of month-end processes
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Eager to learn with a proactive attitude
  • Experience in a multi-currency environment would be beneficial
Skills & Abilities
  • Good quantitative skills with ability to develop further
  • Developing analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with willingness to learn Power BI and financial modelling
  • Basic understanding of data analysis with eagerness to develop commercial acumen
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive approach to work with willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Familiarity with financial systems, ERP’s (Oracle, TM1, SAP).
