Job summary

BEC Arabia seeks a Land Surveyor Assistant for our Khobar field team in the Eastern Province. You will assist senior surveyors in collecting measurements, operating total stations, GPS devices and levels, and documenting data to support large-scale infrastructure projects.

Based on the role, you will prepare site plans and maps while coordinating with construction teams to ensure data accuracy and project alignment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in land surveying or a similar role.
• Proficiency with total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and mapping software.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and municipal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior land surveyors in conducting field surveys to collect measurements and data.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations, GPS devices and levels.
• Record and document survey data with accuracy and compliance to specifications.
• Prepare site plans, maps and reports based on survey findings.
• Collaborate with construction teams to align survey data with project requirements.
• Perform routine checks and calibrations of survey instruments to maintain precision.
• Assist in marking boundaries, elevations and critical site features.
• Ensure safety standards and on-site protocols are followed.
• Provide logistical support for survey operations including equipment setup and transport.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address survey-related challenges.
