Job description

The Field Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cybersecurity controls at site to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats. The role provides hands-on security support during deployment, integration, and operations while ensuring compliance with approved security standards and policies.

Experience: 10-15years

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls for site-based IT/OT systems
• Support installation, configuration, and hardening of networks, servers, and endpoints
• Monitor security events, logs, and alerts, support incident response activities
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation actions
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, policies, and project requirements
• Coordinate with IT, engineering, and site teams on secure system integration
• Support security testing, audits, and system commissioning
• Maintain security documentation, reports, and site records

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (Diploma not acceptable)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Hands-on experience with security tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Ability to mobilize immediately
• Experience working in site/field or project-based environments
