Job summary

OHC | العمر القابضة is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee the execution of multiple construction projects on-site, ensuring technical quality and strict adherence to drawings, specifications, contracts and schedules. This field-based role requires hands-on leadership of site engineers and coordination of diverse subcontractors across civil, architectural and MEP works.

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, preferably with a main contractor or general contracting company.
• Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors across different construction disciplines.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, architectural, finishing and MEP coordination works.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, site execution methods, drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Strong experience in building and residential construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage and lead engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills on site.
• Ability to identify construction defects and technical issues before works are concealed or handed over.
• Strong knowledge of project schedules, progress monitoring and recovery planning.
• Experience reviewing subcontractor progress and completed works prior to payment certification.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Must be comfortable working primarily on construction sites rather than in an office-based role.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of multiple construction projects with a focus on on-site operations and technical quality.
• Manage site engineers and ensure subcontractors execute works per drawings, specs, contracts, quality standards and schedules.
• Coordinate civil, architectural and MEP works; monitor progress and workmanship quality.
• Conduct site inspections, lead coordination meetings, monitor subcontractor performance and identify delays/risks.
• Provide management with progress updates and recommendations.
