Job summary

Asmacs is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the construction process from project development to handover, ensuring timely and economical execution across sites in Saudi Arabia.

You will supervise and coordinate site labor, review drawings, method statements, and permits, and liaise with QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project delivery. This role requires leadership and coordination of manpower and equipment on substations, plants, or EPC oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• BSc Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) degree.
• PMP certification is advantageous.
• 5–10+ years of construction experience in substations, plants, or EPC oil & gas projects in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• The Construction Manager is responsible for the management and managerial oversight, administration, and coordination of the construction process from the conceptual development (Project Work of Scope can be added) stage through final construction on timely and economical basis.
• Supervise and monitor the site labor force daily
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and site safety walks
• Inspect ongoing works and materials against drawings/specs; check required tests
• Review daily progress vs. plan with supervisors
• Coordinate manpower/equipment across work fronts
• Review and approve method statements and work permits
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervision of the site labor force
• Review drawings, inspect materials, and check required tests
• Manage construction supervisors and subcontractors
• Oversee manpower and equipment planning
• Ensure work executed per approved IFC drawings and method statements
• Interface with QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams for smooth handover
• Report construction progress and productivity metrics

Qualifications

• BSc Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical);
• PMP can be a advantage 05-10+ years of construction experience includingsubstation, plant, or EPC oil & gas projects in Saudi Arabia; 5+ years in a construction management role.
