Job summary

MOBCO Group is seeking an experienced Facility Management Engineer to oversee operations, maintenance, and performance of building facilities and mechanical systems. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on expertise in HVAC and plumbing within a facility management context.

The candidate will manage maintenance teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to HSE and company standards while optimizing downtime and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in Facility Management and building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, plumbing, and general building services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day facility management and maintenance activities.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify maintenance requirements and potential issues.
• Monitor the performance and condition of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, service reports, and technical documentation.
• Monitor contractors and ensure compliance with contractual and service-level requirements.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and facility-related issues.
• Monitor maintenance costs, spare parts, manpower, and other operational requirements.
• Prepare regular facility management and maintenance reports for management.
• Ensure proper implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
