Job summary

Alu Systems in Riyadh is seeking a technically skilled Facade Designer with 4 years of experience to join our Technical Department. You will develop and coordinate facade designs from the IFC stage through shop drawings, fabrication and installation, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

You will review IFC drawings, develop practical facade solutions, prepare detailed designs and shop drawings for curtain walls, aluminium, glass, and other facade systems, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in façade design / engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminium & glass, ACP / metal cladding, windows & doors, and façade detailing.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit / BIM experience is a plus.
• Ability to develop façade details independently from IFC to fabrication and installation.
• Good understanding of profiles, brackets, fixings, glass, gaskets, sealants, and structural interfaces.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings architectural drawings specifications and project requirements
• Develop practical and technically accurate facade solutions
• Prepare detailed designs and shop drawings for curtain wall aluminium glass cladding windows & doors and other facade systems
• Coordinate drawings and technical requirements with consultants contractors suppliers structural teams factory and site teams
• Handle consultant contractor comments and revise drawings until approval
• Participate in technical meetings and provide design clarifications when required
• Prepare and review Material Take-Offs (MTO) and material requirements
• Develop fabrication drawings cutting lists and related production documentation
• Prepare installation drawings and detailed site information
• Provide technical support during fabrication and installation
• Identify and resolve design fabrication and site coordination issues
