Confidential is seeking an External Audit Supervisor to join its Audit & Assurance team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate brings extensive external auditing experience, leadership, and strong client relationship skills to oversee engagements and ensure top-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities include supervising audits from planning to completion, reviewing working papers and financial statements, mentoring teams, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive external audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Experience supervising audit engagements and reviewing working papers and financial statements.
• Big 4 audit experience preferred.
• SOCPA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication in Arabic and English.

A leading professional services firm in Riyadh is looking to hire an experienced External Audit Supervisor to join its Audit & Assurance team.

This position is ideal for a skilled audit professional with extensive experience in external auditing, team leadership, and client relationship management.

The successful candidate will oversee audit engagements, review financial statements and audit documentation, and ensure compliance with international auditing and financial reporting standards.

Candidates with experience in a Big 4 audit firm and strong bilingual communication skills will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise external audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
• Lead and mentor audit team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout audit assignments.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Coordinate with internal teams and management to deliver audits within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive external audit experience within a recognized audit firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Proven experience supervising audit engagements and reviewing audit working papers and financial statements.
• Experience managing audit teams and maintaining client relationships.
• Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred.
• SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
