Job summary

JobCenter in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will perform welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminum, following blueprints and specifications with a high degree of accuracy.

You should have 5+ years MIG/TIG/ARC/GTAW welding experience, read drawings well, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Certification is preferred, and strong attention to detail and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of MIG/TIG/ARC/GTAW welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Certification from a recognized welding training program preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the required welding techniques.
• Set up welding machines with appropriate power settings for specific materials.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in a safe manner.
• Prepare material surfaces prior to welding, including grinding, filing and cutting as necessary.
• Weld components using manual arc and gas welding equipment.
• Ensure that welds meet quality standards by examining them visually or with measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers.
• Maintain accurate records of all welding operations performed.
