Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking an English language speechwriter to join its Executive Writers Group within the Executive Communications Division. The role focuses on crafting speeches, video scripts, and other deliverables for senior executives, including executive vice presidents.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), have at least 3 years as a speechwriter and 8 years in communications, and are native English speakers with energy industry insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a world-class institution; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 3 years as a speechwriter and 8 years in communications.
• Currently writing speeches at the highest levels, preferably in the energy industry.
• Speechwriting/comms experience in government or NGOs is a plus.
• Knowledge of the energy industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of international relations, business, academia, technology, and cultures preferred.
• Ability to diplomatically engage, counsel, and influence senior executives.
• Native English speaker is essential.

Responsibilities

• Research, craft, and edit high quality English language speeches and video scripts for executives to deliver at events.
• Draft mass employee emails, executive correspondence, speaker notes, and forewords to publications.
• Align each product with corporate messaging across media in the voice of each executive.
• Identify strategic speaking opportunities to reach key audiences.
• Build trusted relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.
• Immerse in Aramco’s heritage and future strategy, adapting skills to the Aramco environment.
