Overview

Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity, supporting an iconic giga program in Riyadh. We are seeking a MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management professional, who wants to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering post contract commercial management services
• Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures.
• Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.
• Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients’ requirements.
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
• Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
• Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
• Producing and presenting reports to Clients.
• Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects.

Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills

• MRICS or FRICS Chartered
• 15+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying
• 3+ years’ experience in Saudi Arabia
• 3+ years’ experience with a consultancy organization
• Has operated as Senior Commercial Manager delivering giga building projects
• Experience of giga scale building projects, hospitality and education
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of post contract commercial management.
• Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
• Ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• MRICS or equivalent chartered status
• Fluent English level written and oral skills
• Arabic desirable
• Transferable Iqama
