Job summary

Yellow Door Energy is seeking an experienced Head of Project Execution to lead the regional engineering and project management teams across Saudi Arabia and the GCC markets. You will drive delivery from pre-construction through handover for solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring robust design, safety, and commercial discipline.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years' relevant experience in solar PV, renewable energy or power infrastructure, including senior leadership roles.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams.
• Substantial EPC contracting and negotiation experience.
• Deep technical understanding of solar PV, BESS, grid connection and LV/MV/HV infrastructure.
• Knowledge of GCC grid and regulatory requirements; experience with local utilities and Grid Codes.
• Commercial and contractual judgement for complex technical and delivery issues.
• Experience working in a multinational, matrix environment with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Execution team across engineering and project management with clear priorities and accountabilities.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and recruitment as portfolio grows.
• Engage with clients, EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers and partners to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure alignment of execution with Development, Commercial, Technical, Procurement, PMO, Finance, Legal and O&M.
• Embed governance, reporting, lessons learned and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Provide leadership for pre-construction and detailed engineering, including design reviews and constructability.
• Oversee technical negotiations and ensure tender packages reflect technical requirements; support commercial deals.
• Manage grid connection and Grid Code compliance across LV/MV/HV; ensure equipment selection criteria.
• Ensure QA/QC across FAT, site inspections, commissioning, PAC/FAC and handover documents.
• Deliver handover packages to O&M with complete as-built records and testing documentation.
• Promote QHSSE and safety leadership across execution activities.
