Job summary

Hudson Manpower Inc. is hiring an experienced Estimation Engineer for a reputed Oil & Gas company in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on reviewing RFQs, preparing detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals, and coordinating across Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Projects.

Requires a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5–7 years in Estimation & Tendering, and strong BOQ, take-off and rate analysis skills. Saudi/GCC experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 5–7 years of experience in Estimation & Tendering.
• Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / EPC / Industrial experience.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Take-Off, Cost Estimation & Rate Analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Saudi/GCC experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, ITTs, tender documents, SOW, drawings, specifications, BOQs and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations and commercial proposals.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Estimate manpower, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, subcontractors and logistics.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare resource and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Projects.
• Identify inclusions, exclusions, clarifications and commercial risks.
• Maintain estimation sheets and historical rate/cost databases.
• Prepare BOQ pricing, rate analysis and bid comparison sheets.
• Identify cost-impacting requirements from technical specifications.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and clarification meetings.
• Prepare commercial clarifications and respond to tender/client pricing queries.
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing and commercial information.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and commercial strategies.
